DIGS (Drake Integrated Global Studies), which used to be known as the International Studies Academy, is an academy for those who want to know more about other cultures through field trips, projects, making art inspired by other cultures and a trip to a foreign country. It consists of two classes, 5th and 7th periods, of a Global Arts classes and a Social Studies class. Having the second half of every tuesday and thursday dedicated to the academy allows for the academy to facilitate speakers and meet for whole academy projects and field trips. Like all of the academies, it is a two year program and is a mix of 11th and 12th graders.
