SEA-DISC students learn about how human population directly effects the environment. In the human activism project, we individually chose a non-profit organization that somehow affects populations, and interviewed them about several different aspects about their organization. We then create portfolios about our organization and present them to the class. As a class, we choose just a few organizations that we feel the most passionate about. We choose personally which organization we want to help out, split up into groups of four or five, and help the organization, whether its fundraising, protesting, educating, soliciting, etc.
