David g. Smith (About the 'g') was born in Marin. He taught at Tamalpais High School for seven years, and has been teaching all together for thirty years. He has acted professionally, and is a professionally produced playwright. His claim to fame is "Plan 9 From Outer Space, The Musical," based on the worst movie of all times. More recently, his musical "Girl Gang" was performed in New York. David was honored in Los Angeles for "Best Original Music and Lyrics" for "Girl Gang." David has a wife, Erika and a son, Miles. They have a dog, Tiki,and a cat, Clea.
